Tina Majorino - My role of Michelle in "What We Do Is Secret" was really fun for me to do. Michelle is actually a real person and is a producer and co/writer of the film. So portraying a real person is always a lot of fun and a great challenge because you have to capture the aspects of a persons character including their body movements and speech patterns. It was a lot of fun. I think it was especially fun for me because I love music so much and the film is based on the band "The Germs" who are the pioneers of punk. Michelle was best friends with the lead singer Darby Crash and getting to live life in her shoes for a couple of weeks was a real eye-opener for me. She's really lovely and has come so far in her life and it was great to get immersed in a character that's nothing like me. I'm almost positive people won't recognize me in the film which makes it even better. It's always fun when that happens.
